The Henry O. Bollman House, 1530 North Ogden Drive, Los Angeles CA. This was the earliest use of the textile block structural method popularized later by Wright's father. Bollman married Virgina Balls in September 1925. Once they got engaged, he sold the house to his parents Otto and Amie.
Since the clients have children, durability and functionality were top of mind. Recessed lighting, for example, was largely shunned, and vintage fixtures like Louis Poulsen sconces in the primary bedroom were celebrated. The couple also expressed their dislike of plain painted walls, leading to the use of wallpaper, plaster, and copious amounts of wood throughout the entirety of the home. The designer further punched up this relatively neutral room by incorporating elements such as a pair of BDDW leather nightstands and Lindsey Adelman’s ethereal Cherry Bomb chandelier. Above the bed, which is dressed in Nickey Kehoe linens, a painting by Alfred Hair lends a meditative touch. Not only can you see the extraordinary beauty of the seaside, but you can also feel the sand through your tones and hear waves crashing on the shore.

I think some of the passengers were more rude and irritated because of the lines unfortunately. Will never cruise from NY again, although we live on Long Island - an absolute fiasco!! We've sailed for 30 years and mostly in winter out of different Florida ports. Hated having so many colder sea days (although we were actually lucky with good weather in the 60's, so we could be outside up on Serenity deck those days).

Never had that experience on any ship/cruise before. If this is a Vista class ship they dropped the ball in the buffet because the other ships are way better. We just came back from a 10-day cruise on Venezia out of Manhattan.
